Madeline Dashiell

Originally from Brook Park, Ohio, Dr. Madeline (Maddy) Dashiell earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Findlay before receiving her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Michigan State University.

While at Michigan State, she was awarded the Kelly Smith Memorial Award, which recognizes a student who embodies a love for horses and a commitment to the equine veterinary profession. She also worked as an assistant in the Large Animal Hospital, gaining valuable hands-on experience.

Maddy has been riding horses from a young age. At 10 years old, she learned to ride and train an off-the-track Thoroughbred, an experience that taught her invaluable horsemanship skills and sparked her passion for equine medicine.

She has a special interest in equine internal medicine and is excited to work with everyone at MPEH. In her free time, she enjoys taking her Golden Retriever, Teddy, for walks and reading.
